Pilgrimage IN moNGOLIA
6-22 July, 2026

Welcome and thank you for being curious about this wildly enriching and lifechanging adventure.

My INTENTION for this pilgrimage is for you to connect to the true wild beauty of Western Mongolia. Western Mongolia is my ulgii nutag (ancestral homeland) and as such holds a special place in my heart. The land itself is raw and untouched a deeply sacred part of our earth. An ancient world where wild animals and people live in harmony, living in alignment with the seasons, simple but deeply content and devoted to their culture, community and nurturing the land that sustains them.

Immersing yourself in this way of life is deeply inspiring, a remembering, a catalyst for change towards a more connected way of being. I look forward to the opportunity to share this Sacred journey with you!

Daily schedule

Across this 17-day pilgrimage, we travel through living landscapes that breathe with spirit —a yin–yang journey of elemental alchemy, moving through mountains, lakes, rivers, and steppe — Guided and protected by spirit of the Mongolian land and elementals - fire, earth, air, water, and ether.  Each element mirrors a phase of transformation — grounding, awakening, softening, and returning to wholeness.

Throughout the journey, you are fully held. Our caring team — from city hosts and service staff to skilled drivers, horse guide horsemen, a seasoned tour chief, and Kazakh-Mongolian guides —works quietly behind the scenes to make your experience smooth, easeful, and deeply comfortable, allowing you to rest into the flow and receive all that this land wishes to offer.

Phase One — Grounding (Earth)

Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you are gently held and welcomed. We begin with yoga to release the weight of travel, a performance of ancient song and dance, and a shamanic ceremony to open the way — an invitation to meet the spirit of Mongolia. Here, we root into the earth, arriving fully, as the land begins to whisper and your journey inward begins.

Phase Two — Adventure (Fire & Air)

We fly west into the boundless silence of the Altai. Here, snow peaks kiss the sky and winds move with wild grace. Horseback we ride toward the sacred Tavan Bogd Mountains, trekking and climbing through powerful terrain — alive with the fire of movement and the breath of spirit. Nights by the fire, stars above, tea warming your hands — connection deepens, laughter rises, and your inner flame awakens.

Phase Three — Integration (Water & Ether)

Descending from the mountains, the energy softens. We journey toward waterfalls, lakes, and rivers — flowing spaces for rest and renewal. Through yoga, reflection, and stillness, we dissolve into the water’s rhythm, held by the vast ether of sky and silence. A meeting with the Golden Eagle and her Kazakh guardian reminds us of trust, freedom, and harmony between all beings.

Phase Four — Completion (Wholeness)

We return to the city, hearts full, the circle complete. With gratitude and grace, we carry home what the land has offered — the stillness of the steppes, the strength of the peaks, and the alchemy of the five elements now alive within. You leave not as a traveler, but as a part of the land itself — rooted, renewed, and forever transformed.

what is sacred about altai tavan Bogd
Mountains

Tavan Bogd, meaning "Five Saints" or "Five Holy Peaks", is one of Mongolia’s most sacred and awe-inspiring landscapes. Nestled in the Altai Mountains of Western Mongolia, this majestic range straddles the borders of Russia, China, and Kazakhstan, making it a powerful crossroads of cultures, spirituality, and ancient history. For centuries, Tavan Bogd has been revered by shamans, nomads, and spiritual seekers as a place of immense power and transformation.

The peaks are believed to be home to protective spirits, and the locals hold deep respect for the land, often making offerings for guidance, healing, and blessings. This is a place where the veil between the physical and spiritual worlds feels thin, inviting deep introspection and renewal. Drawing adventure seekers who desire unique experience that are off the beaten path. The Altai Mountains are calling you. Will you answer the call?
