Tavan Bogd:
The Sacred Mountains of Mongolia
Tavan Bogd, meaning "Five Saints" or "Five Holy Peaks", is one of Mongolia’s most sacred and awe-inspiring landscapes. Nestled in the Altai Mountains of Western Mongolia, this majestic range straddles the borders of Russia, China, and Kazakhstan, making it a powerful crossroads of cultures, spirituality, and ancient history.
Spiritual & Cultural Significance: For centuries, Tavan Bogd has been revered by shamans, nomads, and spiritual seekers as a place of immense power and transformation. The peaks are believed to be home to protective spirits, and locals hold deep respect for the land, often making offerings for guidance, healing, and blessings. This is a place where the veil between the physical and spiritual worlds feels thin, inviting deep introspection and renewal

why I love western Mongolia
Western Mongolian land and people are really special and dear to my heart because these lands my parents ulgii nutag (homeground) and also for me it’s the most raw and untouched, deeply sacred part of our earth.
A people here in this part of the earth still deeply connected to what’s important in life which is - community, family and living in harmony with land and elements.
By simple observing their way of life is inspiring thought provoking and helps me cleanse my capitalist consumerism mind and remember of ancient ways of life.
in this deeply high prana sacred lands - doing anything with intention becomes ritual and prayer.
